City Talk

 London

Hong Kong

Paris

 Tokyo

New York

And my personal favourite:
Kuala Lumpur

If I were to undo things, and get a fresh clean choice to pick the preference of my university. I would definitely choose to be in the heart of London.

I would definitely choose somewhere with things happening around me 24/7. I would choose London, where restaurants are bursting with guest list every night, with people celebrating birthdays and promotions in their career. I can’t help but realise how much I love standing on the streets filled with people, people who are also out like me looking for fun things to do to fill up our free time.

It makes me realise that I want to come home from a weekend-away, not to a home where I can only think of the option of Jenny’s fish & chips down the quiet streets of the small family and retired couple living next to me. I actually want to come home to an apartment with my plasma TV, cosy in my bubble with my lazy couch and favourite mug, but also at the same time.. it comforts me knowing that I am resting in somewhere not far from the city centre, where I can phone up people who are energised for the night to do whatever we suggest on the spot. In regardless of getting change into an evening casual dress for dinner in a “London best-review” restaurant, or popping in the casino for a game of poker, or enjoying a night of twister with chilled music while having your collegue cook you a nice hearty meal over at their place.

This is home for me. Somehow, cutting all these city distractions from my life doesn’t help me become any more productive.
